StoryLoop pairs a native macOS writing experience with an AI coach built for serious drafting—not for taking the pen out of your hand. Whether you’re shaping a screenplay or a novel, you work in a focused editor, get targeted coaching as you go, and can ask direct questions when you’re stuck or second-guessing a choice. You stay in charge: review suggestions, mark what lands, and reject what doesn’t, so feedback sharpens your voice instead of replacing it.
Behind the scenes, your work and coaching sync to GitHub as versioned runs, which keeps the writing surface calm while preserving a durable trail the system can learn from over time. This is not an AI ghostwriter churning out pages for you—you author every line. You write; StoryLoop coaches.
Planned capabilities
In-app AI coaching — The coach’s output shows up as feedback tied to your project: open or hide the feedback pane, and mark items complete or rejected so your choices are saved with the run.
Direct Q&A with the coach — Ask targeted questions from the app (including context modes like screenplay vs novel), so coaching is conversational, not only passive annotations.
Git / GitHub–backed workflow — Work inside a git repo, save with automatic commit/push (token in Keychain), so drafts and coaching runs stay versioned while the writing UI stays uncluttered.
